Most Valuable U.S. Car Company...Tesla?

For a moment on Monday, Tesla surpassed GM as the most valuable car company according to stock quotes from NASDAQ Last Sale Trades.

Now Tesla does not necessarily have more assists or sales than other car companies right now, but the stock of Tesla has risen due to trust in their CEO Elon Musk and his future endeavors.

Elon Musk has made bold claims that "people will go to Mars by 2025" as well as predicting that "video games will become indistinguishable from reality." The CEO of the shared these bold predictions at Redcode's Code Conference in June 2016. The American automaker is making major strategies towards developing solar energy, energy storage, and many more technical areas which are why they company has surpassed other car companies in terms of value.
